Wanda Fay Pemberton

Wanda Fay Pemberton, 82, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025. She was born on February 28, 1943, in Pisgah, Alabama and was raised in Plymouth, Florida. She was a microbiologist tech for Cargill and a member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed painting, baking, cake decorating, arts and crafts, sewing, and reading the bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mildred Pemberton; and siblings, Jennings, Ruth, Cecil, Robbie, Hollis, Rosie Mae, Bonnie, and Doyle.

Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Winston "Pete" Pemberton and Ronnie Pemberton; sons, Benny Dale Johnson, Jimmy Darrel (Nancy) Johnson, Craig McKinley (Tisa) Johnson; and grandchildren, Jimmy Dylan Johnson, Ian Darrel Johnson, Matthew McKinley Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 12:00p.m.-2:00p.m. at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel located at 833 Chickamauga Ave Rossville, Georgia.

The family will also receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 12:00p.m.-2:00p.m. at Kerby Funeral Home located at 17554 AL-75, Henagar, Alabama.

A service will follow in the Kerby Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Pisgah, Alabama.
