Gary Culpepper

Gary Lynn Culpepper, 72, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on March 22, 1953, to the late James and Margaret Culpepper. He attended Ringgold High School and was a member of Ringgold Church of God. Gary loved golf and playing the drums. He was also an avid Tennessee Vols Fan. Go Vols!

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Culpepper; parents, James "Jim" and Margaret "Rita" Culpepper; brothers, David Culpepper and Bobby Culpepper; and grandparents, Francis and Boyd Gilbreath.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Scott (Julie) Culpepper, Keith Lane, and Wesley Culpepper; daughter, Kelley (Marlin) Thompson; grandchildren, Seth Cruttenden, Madison Lane, Joshua Lane, Jaxson Lane, Chloe Morgan, Bayley Culpepper, and Jami Yates; brother, Steve (Becky) Culpepper; cousin, Vickie (Max) Bates; and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00–8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, and from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel in Rossville, Georgia.

A service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
