Wanda Wilson Queener age 77 of Lenoir City transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Wanda retired as a surgical technician. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy, the Atlanta Braves and the Lady Vols. Most of all she was a devoted mother and loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ronnie L. Queener; parents, Albert and Pauline Moore Wilson and brothers, Jack and Randy Wilson. Survived by her daughters and sons-in law, Melissa and Jonathan Lawson, Amy and Chester Ramsey of Lenoir City, and Karen and Kevin Pearce of Savannah, GA; grandchildren: Charlie Lawson (Tracy), Becky Collins (Philip), Jon Lawson, Aidan and Ava Ramsey, Gavin Ramsey, Natalie Ramsey, and Arthur Pearce; great grandchildren, Amelia Lawson and Liam Collins; brother, Richard Wilson; sisters: Evelyn Simpson, Jo Ann Smith, and Christine Embler (Don); sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Gaynelle Wilson, Donna and LeRoy Hartline; special friend, Carolyn Turpin along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 3rd at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City. Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Linda Bass officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 9:30 Saturday morning and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Sacred Grounds Hospice, 1120 Dry Gap Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918 or Trinity United Methodist Church Music Ministry, P O Box 606, Lenoir City, TN 37771.
