Wanda Riffe Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel on Jan. 27, 2026.
Wanda Lee Riffe, age 81, entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 26, 2026 at Marion General Hospital.

On January 8, 1945 Wanda was born in Buena Vista, Ohio. The daughter of the late Willard A. and Sarah M. (Salyers) Slusher. Wanda attended Minford High School. Wanda worked in Housekeeping at Community Nursing Home for over thirteen years.

Wanda was a woman of quiet strength, deep faith, and simple joys that brought beauty to everyone around her. She found great peace in tending to her yard, where her love for flowers was evident in every bloom she nurtured. Her garden was a reflection of her patience and caring nature.

Wanda also valued taking care of her health and enjoyed going to the YMCA, faithfully walking the track and getting her steps in. Those walks were more than exercise; they were moments of reflection, routine, and perseverance that she carried throughout her life.

Above all else, Wanda's heart belonged to her church, Marion Enterprise. She was a devoted parishioner whose faith guided her daily life. Her love for her church family and her commitment to worship were unwavering, and her presence there will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved children: Brian L. (Jamie) Riffe, Terry L. (Amanda) Riffe, Patricia A. (Rob) Fitch, and Angela L. (Greg) Ault; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings: Milton Slusher, Kathy Blevins, and Marilyn Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa D. Riffe; and siblings: Kenneth Slusher, Forrest Slusher, Jocye Crider, Bonnie Logan, Shirely Wright.

Visitation will be held from 11AM-1PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2025 at Marion Enterprise Church; 130 Orton St., Marion, OH 43302. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1PM. Graveside Service will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Garden.
