Wanda Lee Summerton (nee Wanda Lee Sherman), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the age of 82. Cherished daughter of the late Delbert and Hattie Sherman; devoted mother of Michael Hamilton, Melissa (Don) Offenbecher, and Marcia (the late Scott) Williams; dear sister of Patricia (the late Jim) Pike and Danny (Gloria) Sherman; loving grandmother of Krysta (the late Steven) Offenbecher- Aston, Jordan (Anne Pleasant) Offenbecher, Amanda (Joshua Keiser) Schultz, Austin Schultz, Kevin Offenbecher, Julie (Seth) Brown, Amilyn (Dylan Wait) Williams, and Alex Williams; great-grandmother of 8 and 1 on the way. Wanda is preceded in death by two brothers, Glen (Pat) Sherman and Phil (Barb) Sherman.
Wanda had a deep love for life’s simple joys, finding happiness in traveling to new places, spending time bowling, creating crafts, and tending to her flower garden. Above all, she took immense pride in time spent with her family, cherishing every moment together. Wanda was dearly loved, and her warmth, kindness, and presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In honor of Wanda, donations can be made to any organization of the donor’s choice.
