Wanda Turner Lindsey Obituary

Wanda was born in the Allen's Bend Community of Dekalb County on July 23, 1937 to the late Freeman Lee and American Jones Turner. She was a homemaker and former security guard for Employer Security. She loved to play cards especially rummy and rook when she had enough players while enjoying a cigarette. If she wasn't playing cards, she was enjoying a western on television or keeping up with the news.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband John Patrick "Pat" Lindsey; sons Anthony Patrick "Tony" Lindsey and Rocky Lindsey ; daughter Cathy Grissom; granddaughter Tammy Nunley; great-grandchildren Noah Keen and Taylor Neely; brother Malcolm Turner and wife Helen and their son Malcolm Turner, Jr.
Survivors include her son Terry Breedlove
Daughter: Nancy (Earl) Keen
Grandchildren: Kimberly Bruce, Terra (Don) Neely, Nakeisha (Seth) Price, Greg (Jan) Keen, Ricky Keen, Hannah (Shane) Mayfield, Houston (Gabrielle) Austin, Brandie (John) Jones
Several great-grandchildren,great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friend also survive
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00am Tuesday at Hunter Funeral Home. Houston Austin will officiate.
Greg Keen, Ricky Keen, Dakota Keen, Seth Price, Austin Cantrell, Tyler Woody, Justin Daniels and Daniel Sullivan will serve the family as pallbearers.

I worked at Aquatech and Wanda was a security guard we talked alot during lunch and breaks. I would say one of the funniest things I saw her do was, I had went to her house and her and Pat had been arguing. Next think I know I see Pat running up the hallway with Wanda on his back yelling at him. She was something else spoke her mind. I really enjoyed the time we spent together . Condolences to the family
