Wanda W. Vowell

Wanda W. Vowell, 75, of Walnut Ridge, passed away on March 11, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born on December 21, 1949 in Lepanto to Odie Edgar and Ella Juanita Vowell.
A devoted Christian, Wanda was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Marlon M. Vowell, Verlin M. Vowell, Lloyd E. Vowell, Bobby C. Wortham; and her sister, Lois Jean Mason.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Sue Wilson of California; brothers, Floyd D. Vowell of Payneway, Owen E. Vowell of Tyronza, Byron Vowell and wife, Sheila, of Jonesboro, Carlos Vowell and wife, Jean, of Alexandria, and Thomas Vowell and wife, Delphine, of Illinois; sister, Marilyn Thomas of Jonesboro; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service officiated by Packy Magel will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Purcell Cemetery in Rector. Active pallbearers include: Tony King, Wayne Vowell, Ronnie Ergle, and gentlemen from Eastside Baptist Church.
