Wanda Yates Obituary

Wanda "Aunt Polly" Keeble Yates age 86 of Loudon went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March10, 2026. She was a member of Reed Springs Baptist Church. Wanda retired from Viskase after 32 years of service.



Preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Yates; parents, Roy and Lennis Keeble; siblings: Margaret Ann Keeble, Charles Keeble, Eugene Keeble (Pat), and Eula Chambers (Wayne); brothers-in-law, Bud Fain, Frederick Brashears, Howard Harris and Rex Yates.



She is survived by her sisters, Lorene Brashears and Reba Sue Fain; sister-in-law, Louise Harris; brother-in-law, Bob Yates (Mary Elizabeth); sister-in-law, Doris Yates, along with many special nieces and nephews.



A special thank you to Caris Hospice and River Oaks Lenoir City for their care and support.



The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 12th at Reed Springs Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Rev. Steve McDonald and Rev. Jimmy Jackson will officiate. Family and friends will gather at Click Funeral Home by 10:30 Friday morning and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reed Springs Baptist Church, 485 Reed Springs Road, Philadelphia, TN 37846.
