Lowell E. "Windy" Dean

Lowell E. "Windy" Dean - age 83 of Loudon, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2026. Above all he loved the Lord and was a faithful member, Deacon and song leader of Pine Top Primitive Baptist Church. Windy served in the United States Army. He retired from the University of Tennessee as a master plumber. Windy was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

Windy was preceded in death by his wives, Barbara Galyon and Sandra Weatherly Dean; son, Christopher Edwin Dean; parents, James and Lessie Dean; brothers: James, Jr., William and Lovell; sisters: Louise, Delores and Rebecca.

Survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Canda and Todd Sims, Leslie and Ben Brown, Misti Weatherly; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jennifer Weatherly; grandchildren: Jeremiah Weatherly, Joseph Weatherly, Jordan Snoblen (MiKenny), Courtney Holmes, Christien Brindle, Kristen Sims, Ethan Sims, Noah Brown, Jude Brown, and Silas Brown; great-grandchildren: Rorie Holmes, Jayden Weatherly, and Baby Snoblen and Baby Williams on the way; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, March 6th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor David Littleton officiating. We will then proceed to Pine Grove Cemetery for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Top Primitive Baptist Church, 2630 Crock Road, Loudon, TN 37774 or a donation box will be provided at funeral home during services.
