Warner Ennes III, of Dennis, MA and recently Worcester, MA, died unexpectedly on May 9, 2022. He was 38 years old.
Warner was born on October 15, 1983 in Falmouth, MA to Janice Costa and Warner Ennes, Jr. He grew up in Dennis, MA and participated in boy scouts as a child. Warner was a proud member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. He graduated from the Cape Cod Technical High School. Following high school, Warner excelled in his career which included both landscaping and construction work. Most recently he was a general contractor for R. Gonynor & Sons Property Services, in Sutton, MA.
Warner was an active guy, he loved dirt bikes from the time he was a little boy throughout his adulthood. He loved sports, and was active on a men's softball league, something he faithfully attended every weekend. He loved to hit the batting cages with his softball buddies, and never had to be talked into going out to eat with friends and family. More than anything, Warner enjoyed spending time with his children and his family and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Warner is survived by his parents, Janice Costa, of Dennis, MA, and Warner Ennes, Jr., of Las Vegas, NV; his beloved daughters, Deja Ennes, of WV, and Brooklynne Ennes, of Harwich, MA; his sisters Desiree Pena, of Dennis, MA, Makayla Doefler, of CA, and Sierra Ennes, of Las Vegas, NV; his brother, Brett Ennes, his nephews, Wesley Rose, Jr., and Kayden Rose, both of Dennis, MA; paternal grandparents, Rosemarie Ennes, and Warner Ennes, Sr., both of Hyannis, MA; Maternal grandmother, Natalie Costa of Falmouth MA; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Warner was preceded in death by his sister Manicka Purdie.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Old Indian Meetinghouse, 410 meetinghouse Rd., in Mashpee. A funeral service will follow in the Meetinghouse at 11:00 am, with a burial at the Old Indian Cemetery. Following the service, repast will be at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Gov. Center located at 483 Great a neck Rd. South, Mashpee Ma 02649.
