Nancy Carol Ennes passed away at her home on Monday, March 24, 2025, in the presence of her family. She was born on June 28, 1940, in Onaway, the daughter of Paul and Sylvia (DeBolt) Price. She graduated from Onaway High School and then went on to cosmetology college receiving her certification. On September 6, 1971, in Onaway, she married Mark A. Ennes, and they raised their family here.
Nancy was a hairdresser for many years. Nancy also enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, NASCAR, reading, camping, gardening and traveling all over the United States and Canada.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Mark; and her children, Marsha Palazzolo (Jeff Gaudette) of Tower, Matthew (Jenny) Ennes of Hartland, Susan (Garry) Roux of Lewiston, Jeff (Shelly) Pennell of Texas/Michigan, Greg (Dawn) Pennell of East China, and her adopted daughter, Cathy Hintz of Rose City. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Marie (Jerry) Madden of Clio, Shirley (Doug) Hale of Tower, Dan (Doreen) Price of Millersburg and Judy Price of Onaway.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gary Price; grandson, Daniel LaFave, brother-in-law, Robert Watson, and in laws, Asa and Lois Ennes.
Nancy's family will receive friends at Chagnon Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 1 pm - 3 pm. A short service will follow immediately after visitation. Pastor Josh Ferraiuolo will officiate. Interment in the spring will be at Forest Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy, please consider a donation in honor of Nancy to the Cheboygan County Humane Society or Hospice of Michigan.
