Warren Boggs Obituary
Warren David Boggs, 67, of Star, passed away on November 7, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House.
Warren was born on July 12, 1956, in Wilkes County to Walter and Florence Dillard Boggs. He dedicated his working years to caring for others as a CNA at Poplar Springs Nursing Home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Michael Boggs and brother Wade Boggs.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Shepard Boggs of the home; son Mark Boggs (Shania) of Star; brother Winfred Boggs of Ether; sister Wilma Bean (Hubert) of Star; grandchildren Stephany and Richard and daughter-in-law Jennifer Boggs of Star.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Big Oak Church of God with Rev. Darrell Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation at 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
