OBITUARY
Warren A. Boldrin Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away, peacefully at home with family, on May 16, 2024, in Poughkeepsie, NY, at the age of 93. Warren was born on June 16, 1930, in Buffalo, NY, to Samuel and Stella Boldrin. Warren was a loving and devoted husband to Regina (Phillips) Boldrin, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. He was a proud father to his sons, Warren A. Boldrin Jr. (Margaret) of Montgomery, NY, Robert Boldrin (Bridget) of Cary, NC, and Mark Boldrin (Louise) of San Mateo, CA. Warren is survived by his sister, Julia McKee (Robert) of Poughkeepsie, NY, and his brother Herman (Jerlene) of Poughkeepsie, NY. He adored his grandchildren, Evan, Emily, Brianne Zavala (José), Tara, Sean, and Nicole. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends who will deeply miss his presence in their lives. Warren served his country with honor, in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a dedicated employee at Central Hudson for 37 years. Warren was a member of the Wappingers Council # 1646 Knights of Columbus, where he found joy in giving back to his community and making a difference in the lives of others. Known for his kindness and generosity, Warren was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a compassionate and caring individual who touched the hearts of all who knew him. Warren's warm smile and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Warren was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Dietter, his brother, Henry Boldrin, and his parents. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Warren's life will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls, NY, on May 22, 2024. Gathering to pay respects will begin at 10:30am. The Mass of Christian Burial will start at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Warren's name to the Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation, organizations that were close to his heart. Warren A. Boldrin Sr. will be forever remembered for his unwavering love, his selfless acts of kindness, and the profound impact he had on the lives of those around him.
