Warren Wayne Brown

Warren Wayne Brown, 77, of Providence, and formerly of Warner Robins, GA, passed away Thursday March 5, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Muntana (Sachiotoo) Brown.

Born in Long Branch, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Elijah and Raye (Marshall) Brown.

Mr. Brown served in the United States Air Force for 20 years as a Jet Engine Mechanic. After his discharge, he was a security guard at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, served as an usher at his church, and volunteered at homeless shelters.

He is survived by three sons, Henry Brown, Tony Brown, and Albert Brown, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, John Brown, A sister, Barbara Towns; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Floyd Brown, Sally Lewis, Diane Brown, Brenda Suggs and Shirley Jean Pettaway.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 2200 Hawkins Street, Monday, March 9th, from 4:00pm -7:00 pm, with a prayer service at 6:30 pm. Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
