Warren Todd Chessor, age 60, husband of Sandra Chessor, and a resident of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bill McDonald officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Chessor Family Cemetery in Coble, Tennessee. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Warren Todd Chessor, born on August 6, 1964, in Centerville, Tennessee, was the beloved son of the late Grady Chessor and the late Lorane Warren Chessor. Todd was a man known for his compassionate spirit and his deep servant’s heart, a reflection of his strong faith and love for the Lord. His favorite Bible verse, Isaiah 6:8—"Here am I; send me"—embodied his willingness to serve and support others, a quality that enriched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Todd’s love and devotion to his family were central to his life. His warmth, kindness, and steadfast care for his loved ones leave a lasting legacy. A dedicated paramedic and RN at Maury Regional Medical Center, Todd brought comfort and skilled care to those in need. His expertise and passion also extended to his role as a paramedic for the Tennessee Titans and at other events held at Nissan Stadium.
An active member of the Centerville Church of Christ, Warren lived out his faith daily. Beyond his work and family, he enjoyed spending his time on the golf course, where he could relax and enjoy the game he loved.
Todd's legacy of service, faith, and family will be remembered fondly and cherished by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Zachary (April) Graham, sisters, Kaye Farley, brother in law, Mark (Shela) Chessor, sisters in law, Cathie (Jimmy) Copley, Shirley (Charlie) Chessor-Yearta, grandson, Austin (Elizabeth) Graham, great grandchild, Damien Graham, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father in law, John Will & Polly Chessor.
Pallbearers will be Chandler Anderson, Danny Couples, Mark Mitchell, Roger Mays, Danny Fleming, Joe Foster, Dan Creasy, and Scott Story. Mike Carlton will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
