Warren Michael Murphree, of Commerce Township, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born in Detroit, MI on June 14, 1954, to the late Clifford and Louise Murphree. He was 70 years old.
Warren was the devoted husband to the late Shari (McGee) Murphree, and was a cherished brother and uncle, who impacted everyone he met. Warren was a beloved figure in his community, faithfully supporting his many friends over the years.
Warren loved baseball from a young age, collecting baseball cards and memorabilia over the years. He loved the Detroit Tigers and the Lions, but also had an affinity for good movies and good music, and he loved to laugh.
Warren is survived by his brother, Gordon Murphree, and sister, Maureen Danyi, and his nieces and nephews: Michael (Jian) Murphree, Lisa (Eric) Stimpson, Rebecca (Nathaniel) Staley, Sarah (Glenn) Mainardi, Rachel (Casey) Gilbert, and Joseph Danyi.
Visitation will be held at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home Walled Lake on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., with a eulogy and time of sharing to take place at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the AA of Oakland County.

A great guy who I had so much respect for, always enjoyed talking to him, he made a lot of sense when he spoke. I will miss him but know he will be with his wife.
