Wayne Alan Distler Obituary

Wayne was united in marriage to Deborah Louverne Hobbs on Friday, June 8, 2012 in Chamois, MO. She preceded him in death on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.
He was employed with Keating Construction & Tuckpointing for most of his career.
Wayne was an avid mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, camping, drinking beer, and spending time with his friends, family, and dog: Beavis, of whom he treasured.
He is survived by his father: Vincent Distler Sr. of Taos; siblings: Leigh Ann Eastman (Mike) of Jefferson City, Vincent Distler Jr. (Sheila) of Centertown, Mike Distler (Lori) of Meta, Kim Kremer (Scott) of Linn; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends: Melissa "Broom" Markum and Jacqueline Burks, both of Jefferson City.
In addition to his wife: Deborah; he was preceded in death by his mother: Patricia Distler; sister: Lisa Lynn Taylor and brother in-law: Stephen Taylor.
Visitation for Wayne will be Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. in the Meriwether Room at Tyler M. Woods Funeral Director. Prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. following visitation.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements for Mr. Distler are under the direction of TYLER M. WOODS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, 611 E. Capitol Ave. Jefferson City, Missouri 65101. (573) 636-2424.
