I served with Wayne in Flint, MI. I was his Command Sergeant Major. Always enjoyed our talks, he had a good sense of humor. We're together just a few months. Wayne will be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I served with Wayne for many years in the Army Reserve. He was a fine officer, leader and friend. He was well regarded by many officers and NCO's for his hard work and experience.

We are so sorry. Wayne did have and lead an impactful life w/a beautiful family. His pride & love showed when he shared stories. We're sorry not to be able to attend his memorial/service. I am recovering from spinal surgery & not ambulatory yet. Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers. Hugs to all whose life he touched. May the mories bring smiles & carry you through the toughest of times. Renata & Tom Erickson

Was active Army serving as personnel NCOIC for 70th Div. Worked with LTC Brandon. We worked very hard but also had time to play pranks on fellow soldiers. On one occasion at FT. Custer the General was visiting our troops and unfortunately fell in fox hole during night menuvers. He broke his leg (I think) but at any rate we devised an award of a dragon with a cast on it and awarded it in formation...you had to be there lol! That was just one of many pranks/fun times we had! I enjoyed working with him and calling him friend still all these years later. Recently I sent him a WWII medallion in honor of his dad's service. He was very happy I remembered his dad's service...Wayne Brandon was a good man who was loved and respected by many! God be with his beautiful family at this very difficult time! RIP!
