Obituary of Wayne Eugene Carver
Wayne Eugene Carver was born May 24th of 1937 to Raymond and Minnie (Hampton) Carver in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had one sister, Phyllis Carver Gourley.
Wayne married Doris I Boykin in August of 1978. Doris not only gained a husband in this union, but she also gained her best friend, which was Wayne's first wife Marge. Wayne and Doris did not have any children together however they had three children between them. Michael Carver, Keith Carver and Todd Woods.
Wayne and Doris were involved in some business adventures together. They had a mowing business which involved the whole family. This was a way for them to spend time with the family as well as making money. They continued on to go into the food concession business, which had them travelling and meeting many new friends. They enjoyed this time together and made many memories.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Doris of the home. Son, Mike Carver of Collinsville, Oklahoma. Son Todd Woods and wife Stacey of Claremore, Oklahoma.
Grandchildren: Alex woods, Autumn woods, Andrew Woods, Christopher (Topher) Carver, Krista Carver, Kathleen (Katy) Carver, Josh Carver, Lauren Hall, Abigail (Abby) Jameson, Samantha (Sami) Grimm, Keith Carver 2.0 and 13 great grandchildren. He had one niece and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Minnie, his son Keith Carver, and his great granddaughter Brylee.
His ornery smile and his overall orneriness will be missed by all!!
