Paul Wayne Pritchard, a long-time resident of Sapulpa, was born on January 11, 1941, in Sapulpa, as the youngest of four children to parents James and Bertha Pritchard. He passed away on September 13, 2025, in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

He attended Sapulpa High School and went on to Draughns Business College to study computer programming. From 1958-1966, he served as a member of the Army National Guard, active duty stationed in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. On June 16, 1967, he married Glenda Kay Bradley in Miami, Oklahoma. Together they had three children, Daniel Paul, Charles Scott, and Stacy Lyn.

As a young child, Paul was actively involved with the family business – Deep Rock Bottling Company (which made a variety of soda drinks). He also went onto sell 5-gallon containers of well water, sold and delivered coal for home heating, was a pin setter at the local bowling alley, worked at Goodyear Tire, and even worked as a salesman at a lady's shoe store. He started working at OG&E (Public Utility) in 1962 and retired from there in 1994.

Paul was active in football, basketball, and softball. He loved to fish, bowl, and golf. He was a member of the JC Organization, The Elk's Lodge, and Good Shepherd Episcopal Church – Holy Smokers.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Bertha Pritchard, son Daniel Paul Pritchard, and brothers Leon Pritchard (and wife Kay), Melvin (Bud) Pritchard, and Albert Eugene (Stoop) Pritchard.

Paul is survived by two children Stacy Pritchard-Harmon and Charles Scott Pritchard, grand children Josh, Brad, Samantha, Erica, Addy, Alee, and Raegan, daughter-in- law Kim and several great grandchildren.
