Wayne Michael Darrow

Wayne Michael Darrow, 64, of Marinette, died April 15, 2024.
He was born June 30, 1959, son of the late William and Elizabeth (Jansen) Darrow.
On March 17, 1983 he married his soulmate, the former Kathleen Tonn, in Seaside, CA. A member of the U.S. Army, he received orders to report to Germany in February of 1994 where the couple lived for six years. From there they went to several other bases in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia. July 17, 1990 their son, Wayne II, was born and eight days later Wayne received orders to report to Afghanistan for Desert Storm where he was deployed for nine months. He was awarded the Southwest Asia service medal with two bronze stars. On May 04, 1991 their daughter Michelle was born in Ft. Stewart, GA.
Wayne is survived by, his son, Wayne II of Marinette; his daughter, Michelle (Austin) Kopczynski of Oconto Falls; Michelle's sons and beloved grandchildren of Wayne, Jace, Axton and Cali; 8 siblings, Vern, Randy, Jeff (Jean), Jim, Joe (Elizabeth), Melody, Fred), Scott, and Darylnn (Nick), and 2 sisters-in-law, Cynthia Tonn of Marinette and Tammy Tonn of WI Dells. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his parents and his wife, Kathleen, he was preceded in death by, his oldest brother, Bill and a brother-in-law, William Tonn.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 24th at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until time of services at 3:30 pm. with Father John Harper officiating. Military honors will be provided by the 20 Year Military Club.
