Wayne Ennis Obituary
Wayne Randall Ennis, age 86, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 6, 2024. He was born in Long Beach, California and was a long-time resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. Wayne was an Electronic Engineer. He spent over 16 years in college. He had his bachelor's degree in engineering and was working towards his master's degree. Wayne was an amazing father to his children, and an even better grandfather to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid stamp collector, and he loved his books. Some of his favorite past times were reading novels by Tom Clancy and watching college football; specifically his favorite team, The University of Southern California. Wayne adored camping in his tent with his family and traveling to all of the National Parks across the United States. Wayne will be forever cherished and missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Walter Ennis and Margaret Stremic Ennis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carolyn Fretz Ennis; Daughters, Tina, Julie Ann, Karen, and Diane; Sons, Peter, Donald, and Phillip; Brother, Paul Ennis; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A cremation has been held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
