Wayne Fraser Felton was one of a kind. His smile and sense of humor would brighten up a room. He loved telling stories, getting a good laugh, fishing, and spending time with his family. He also loved raising and keeping chickens. He was loved dearly by his family and friends and brought much joy to the people who knew him.
Wayne passed away holding the hand of one of his daughters on February 9, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born in Springfield, MA on January 11, 1944. He married his best friend, Gail Tourigny, on December 17, 1977, and together they shared 40 years together until her passing in 2017.
He had been employed as a barber for several years and later continued to cut hair for friends and family. He had also loved serving as a dedicated firefighter in Springfield, MA. His most recent employment was in the construction industry, owning his own business remodeling bathrooms, which kept him extremely busy because of his good and respected reputation.
The hope for the future he learned from the Bible was also very dear to him and he enjoyed sharing this hope with others. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Whittier, NC.
Wayne is preceded in death by his older brother, Richard, his beloved wife, Gail Felton, and his infant grandson, Carlos Fransico "Cisco" Negron IV.
He is survived by his sister, Jan Marchesi; his children, Debbie Felton Koseroski, Jennifer Ostiguy, Alan Felton, Roger Felton, Kenneth Felton, Saycha Negron and Danielle DiBona; his grandchildren, Gideon Negron, Peter Negron, Micah Negron, Samuel Felton, Mariah Felton and Eli Felton.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
