Wayne Lilly Obituary

Wayne R. Lilly was born on September 22, 1949, to Harry and Marion (Warner) Lilly in Aberdeen, SD. He was the Seventh son of the Seventh son. He grew up in Aberdeen and graduated from Central High School. He attended Vo tech school in Watertown, SD for a short time. He worked a few different jobs before becoming a maintenance man at Holgate Middle School where he helped get ready for various events and clean.
Wayne enjoyed fishing and sports. He was a people person and enjoyed visiting with over coffee or lunch. He just loved everybody. Wayne was very proud of his 38 years of sobriety.
Grateful for having shared Wayne's life are his siblings Gayle Lilly, Aberdeen, SD, Sharon Pietz, Watertown, SD, Sandi (Dennis) Hawks, Sioux City, IA, Harry Lilly, Jr., Aberdeen, SD (Doris Byington), Fargo, ND, Dave Lilly, Aberdeen, SD, and Paul Lilly, Delta, UT; several nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew.
Preceding Wayne in death are his parents, Harry and Marion Lilly; and sisters, Judy Dennert and Ava Kumpf.
