Wayne Lee Mouse

Wayne Lee Mouse, 76, entered into rest on Monday, April 15, 2024, in Siloam Springs, AR. Wayne was born on May 16, 1947, at home in Colcord, OK.
Wayne lived around Colcord all his life. He started working at 18 at jet stream, then Petersons, Hudson, and Tyson Poultry over the span of 40+ years. If he wasn't at one of those jobs, he would be hauling hay during every summer. He married the love of his life Charlotte on March 14, 1966, and started their family. Wayne was full blood Cherokee and fluently spoke, he didn't learn a word of English until he went to grade school at 5 years old. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Wayne enjoyed watching WWE Wrastling and westerns. He liked to listen to old music and liked old cars. Most of all Wayne liked sitting outside waving at everybody that went by. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Sarah Mouse; Son Michael Mouse;
Grandson Colby Mouse; Brothers Joe Mouse and Randy Mouse;
Sisters Ann foreman, Rosie Roberts, Wilma Lewis, and Shirley Jones.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 58 years Charlotte Mouse of the home; Son Paul Mouse of Colcord, OK; Daughter- In- Law Nancy Mouse of Jay, OK; Brother Floyd Mouse of Siloam Springs, AR; Grandson Terry Mouse and wife Tana and children Kyllei, Dameion, Breeanna and Malachi of Eucha, OK; Granddaughter Alisa Mouse and children Maddi and Cara of Jay, OK; Grandson Brandon Mouse and spouse Courtney and children Ryleigh, Ellie and Declan of Colcord, OK; Granddaughter Shawnta Snell and husband Sheldon and son Warrior of Colcord, OK;
Grandson Dexter Mouse of Colcord, OK; Granddaughter Michaela Noe and husband Jon of Jay, OK; Granddaughter Takeya Guinn and husband Jonathan of Siloam Springs, AR; extended family and friends.
Wayne's Celebration of Life Wake Service will be held on Monday, 6:00pm, April 22, 2024, at Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK, followed by his family visitation to greet friends until 8:00pm.
Wayne's Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 11:00am, April 23, 2024, at Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray Street, Jay, OK with Pastor Stanley Grass officiating. Followed by his funeral procession to Mount Hermon Cemetery, Jay, OK.
Wayne's burial will be held at Mount Hermon Cemetery, Jay, OK.
