Wayne Neufeld Obituary

He was born September 19, 1951 in Hutchinson, KS the son of Wilbur John Neufeld and Rachel Ann (Esau) Neufeld. He grew up in Buhler, KS, graduating from Buhler High School with the class of 1969. Wayne attended Emporia State Teacher's College (Music Education) and Hutchinson Community College (Associate Degree in Business Management).
While attending college in Emporia he met his future wife, Pamela. On July 3, 1971, Wayne was united in marriage to Pamela J. Cezar of Dwight, KS. They shared 51 years of loving marriage.
Wayne worked for Jackson Ice Cream for 31 years beginning as a truck driver and working his way up to management. He then worked for Peel's Beauty Supply and Reno County Education Cooperative (Buhler Schools).
Wayne enjoyed reading, singing, playing golf, spending time with his family. He was undefeated in the family games of Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble. He was a faithful Christian and spent many years as a youth Bible school leader.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Neufeld; mother, Rachel (Esau) Neufeld; and sister, Jane Neufeld.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Neufeld (Buhler, KS); son, Kelly Neufeld and wife Stacy (Baldwin City, KS); son, Corey Neufeld and wife Michelle (Manhattan, KS); daughter, Kasey Noggle and husband Monty (Inman, KS); grandchildren, Madeline Neufeld (Baldwin City,KS), Karly Neufeld (Baldwin City, KS), Chloe Neufeld (Baldwin City, KS), Alissa Torres and husband Leo (Manhattan, KS), Kelsey Neufeld (Oklahoma City, OK), Kolby Noggle (Inman, KS), Karter Noggle (Inman, KS), Kamilyn Noggle (Inman, KS); sister, Lindy Hildebrandt (Hutchinson KS); and father-in-Law, William "Doc" Cezar (Dwight, KS).
Wayne will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th at Bethel Mennonite Church (Inman, KS) from 6 PM - 8 PM. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 12 at Bethel Mennonite Church (Inman, KS). A private graveside service will be held Friday afternoon. Memorial contributions may be made to Mission Revival and sent C/O to Buhler Mortuary, PO Box 589, Buhler, KS, 67522
