Wayne R. Nothstein

Wayne R. Nothstein, of Wescosville, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home surround by his family. Born August 11, 1939, in Trexlertown, he was the son of the late Earl M. and Sallie L. (McClellan) Nothstein.
He co-owned, with his brother Earl Jr., Nothstein Ford in Kutztown in the 1960s and Nothstein Dodge in Trexlertown from 1970 to 1983. He also was a co-owner of Nothstein Motors and Nothstein Brothers Trucking. He loved cars and motorcycles, and was an avid outdoorsman.
Surviving are his children, Waynette Nothstein of Alburtis, Timothy Nothstein of Clearwater, FL, Carlene Engelman, husband Joseph of Schnecksville, Martin Nothstein, wife Christi of Orefield, and Jason Nothstein, wife Dana of Gilbertsville; grandchildren, Derek, John, Reed, Angel, Austin, Myah, Sydnie, Dylan, Catherine, Tyler, and Devon; great grandchildren, Cooper, Kieran, and Quinn. He was predeceased by siblings, Earl Nothstein Jr., Geraldine Eisenhard, and Janice Liscka.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 18th at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Rd., Breinigsville. A calling will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home.
