As a small child (my earliest memory) I remember spending nights at my cousins house and my Uncle Wayne chasing us into the bedroom, we would all climb to the top bunk as quick as we could, laughing and carrying on (thinking that this was our safe spot), seems like it went on for hours (lol). As a young teenager I remember going on hunts with the family and helping with bailing hay. I remember that he had a good sense of humor and would always kid around with me (at my expense of course, but I appreciated it). I always believed that he had great physical and emotional strength to get through life with all that he's had to endure over the years. Nothing slowed him down and he lived a fulfilled life! He was tough, a man of men, and I'm glad to call him my uncle. My biggest regret is not making the time to see him more in my adult life, but I often think of him and the memories that I've collected and this is something that I will continue to cherish. RIP Uncle Wayne!
