Wayne A. Scott, age 85, entered into eternal life on January 30, 2026. Scotty grew up in Saugus and lived in Quincy for 60 years. Mr. Scott proudly served in the Marine Corps and was also a member of the William R. Caddy Detachment, Marine Corps League in Quincy. He was a Foreman for Excel Tool and Die, as well as a Drivers' Ed Instructor for Village Auto, Quincy. He belonged to the South Shore Radio Club and also enjoyed golfing. Beloved husband of the late Mary E. (McNulty). Devoted father of Bryan and his fiance Elizabeth Wallentin of Brockton, Christine Stohlberg of Rockland, Irene Manuel and husband Kevin of Bermuda. Andrea Thibeault and husband Peter of Hanson. Beloved brother of the late Richard Scott, Sandra Fortier, and Marsha Provost. Loving "Grampy" to Christina, Samantha, Scott, Andrew, Jocelyn, Peter, Matthew and two great grandchildren, James and Dallas. Visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Friday February 6 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service, Christ Episcopal Church, 12 Quincy Ave, Quincy on Saturday February 7 at 10 Am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial, Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
