Weldon Edward Davis, passed from this life to his new life on July 10, 2025, at the age of 83. Weldon was born on November 27, 1941 in Athens, TX to Walter and Myrtie Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wilma, as well as His brother Laddie Lee Davis and wife Lake, two daughters, Stefanie Anne Moore and husband Ben of Dallas. Laura Lee Davis and husband Kelly of Utah. Two granddaughters, Parker Lee Wofford, Morgan Ashley Davis of Utah. One great granddaughter, Aria Kay Evans. Four adopted great grandchildren of Utah. Three sisters in law, Laura Beth Gregory of Dallas, Margaret Rachael Blake and husband Buddy, Priscilla Ann Nagle of Maryland. Two brothers in law, Elbert Horace Henton and wife, Donna, of Midlothian, Michael Ray Henton and wife Dolly of Alaska. Weldon is also survived by a loving blended family, two stepdaughters, Ruth Darlene Jones and husband Tim, Lynda Gayle Odom and husband John. Two stepsons, Jerry Earl Petty, Jr, of and Paris, TX, Steven Wayne Petty and wife Michelle of Abilene. As well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Weldon worked for Acme Iron & Metal for many years and eventually worked for Dierske & Dierske as a realtor. Weldon was active and loved by many at San Angelo First Assembly of God church.
He loved to travel to Colorado camping and jeeping. After retirement, he worked and camped with his wife in Colorado, Arizona and Utah. His last years involved working with his wife as gate guards in the oil fields in South Texas and New Mexico.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14th at 1:00pm at Harper Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
