Weldon Lee Johnson

Weldon Lee Johnson, age 69, of Hillsdale, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. He was born on April 15, 1956, in Cadillac, Michigan, to Walter and Amber (Good) Johnson.
Weldon is survived by his loving brother Rick Johnson; step-son Jeff; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; best friend and confidant Tim Barnett; ex-wife Cheryl Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Amber Johnson; siblings Jerry, Rodger, Arildean, Judy, Ronnie, Rosie, Bev, and Shirley; and step-daughter Kathy.
Weldon loved his country music and had a particular fondness for singing songs by George Jones. He frequently enjoyed karaoke nights with his family and friends, which brought him great joy and happiness. Weldon appreciated laughter and the opportunity to have a good time. He cherished his family, especially his dedicated niece Becky, who served as his full-time caretaker and was by his side for many years. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
In accordance with his wishes, Weldon has been cremated. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring of 2026.
