Wendell Edward "Dell" Astrop Jr.

Wendell Edward "Dell" Astrop Jr, 54, of Lakewood, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on April 16, 1971, Dell was a gentle, humble, and loyal man who loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband to Nicci, a loving brother to Christine (Paki) and Kevin (Carrie), and a proud uncle to Jacob. He is also missed by his cousins Ingrid, CJ, Chris, and Courtney, his sister in law Philippa, his mother in law lovingly known as "Mum," and his step sister Kara.

Dell enjoyed simple joys - cooking for his family, gardening, caring for his dogs, listening to NPR, reading comic books, and his love for Australia. He worked hard and cherished the years spent in the parking department with Bay, the late Julius Jordan, and his brother Kevin. Above all, Dell loved his God, Jehovah, and found strength in his faith.

A memorial service will be held on March 28, 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 15600 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, OH 44111.
