I received the information that my friend Wendell had passed away, which deeply sadden me.
I worked with Wendell in the vice/narcotic unit, as well as other aspects of the job. He was a laid back type of guy, but always got the job done.
After retiring we went out separate ways, but always stayed in touch.
I regret not seeing him more than I did when I came to St. Pete.
He will be sorely missed, and I miss the stuff he put on the computer.
RIP Devil Dog. I know you'll be guarding the gate when I show up.
