Wendell was a man that everyone came to adore. A man that dedicated his soul to his love of rock and roll. Founded by Wendell Sizemore and his cousins in 1973, Running Madd is a five-piece band featuring Wendell's original songs plus Country, Blues and Rock n' Roll ranging from Stones to Southern Fried and a lot in between.
Running Madd played many venues including Navy Club Ship 12 Lafayette, Indiana, American Legion Post 11 Lafayette, Indiana, Village of Berkeley Music in the Park, Penny Road Pub, Fuller's Pub, Trinity Pub, Mo Dailey's, Gallery Cabaret, Shriners Hospital Annual Picnic, Newbe's Sports Bar, Memories, Zachary's for Cocktails, Donovan's Reef in Wisconsin and Landmark Pub Toys For Tots.
Wendell and his crew hosted open mic night at the Landmark Pub with a full band and equipment available to anyone else who wanted to share his passion and love of music. In between jam sessions, Wendell and his crew would play everything from Johnny Cash to The Temptations. "All of us from Landmark Pub loved Wendell and we will miss this man more than he could have ever imagined. Wendell has been a part of our Club Belmont/Landmark Pub family for as long as we can remember. After selling Club Belmont, Wendell came with us and spent his last years living his best life in the apartment above Landmark Pub."
Visitation Friday March 28th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a prayer service held at 7:30 PM at TOHLE FUNERAL HOME 4325 W Lawrence Ave Chicago, IL 60630. Interment private.
