Jerry's passion for his work as a carpenter was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. He cherished spending time outside, where he could truly connect with nature. A devoted dog owner, he found immense joy in the companionship of his dog, Lokie. Music also played a significant role in his life, often serving as a source of comfort and inspiration.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Betty Lou Collett Sizemore, and his significant other, Reva Smith Sizemore. Jerry was a proud father to daughters Aurie Teakeyshia Shantail Sizemore, Chasity Daisy Sizemore, Melanie Gregory, Robyn Nantz, and Daniel and Summer Dawn Desire Collett, and a stepfather to Kristy Hicks. He shared a special bond with his brother, Jimmy Sizemore, and sister-in-law, Lois Ann. Additionally, Jerry was a cherished uncle to special nieces Lindsey and Josh Jackson, Jenelle and Ben Lunsford, and Shawna and Tim Hoskins. His legacy will continue through his 16 grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. He is also remembered fondly by his special friend, David Gabbard.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Tom C. Sizemore, and his son, Jeremy Sizemore. He also mourned the loss of his paternal grandparents, Chester and Effie Sizemore, as well as his maternal grandmother, Daisy Collett Estep.
