Wendy Lynn Feldman

Wendy Lynn Feldman was a well known figure in the community, who was loved dearly by those who knew her. Born in Philadelphia, Wendy was always creative and independent which inspired her to attend Bucks County School of Beauty Culture after graduating high school.
Wendy worked in salons in Chestnut Hill and California, but then felt drawn to return and open her own salon in Chestnut Hill. She opened Spa Elysium Limited in December 1991. Through endless hard work and ambition, Wendy built an institution that has remained open for 31 years and became a community in and of itself, which continues to flourish. As a boss, Wendy is characterized as being compassionate, driven, and an inspiring leader. She paved the way for many to follow in her footsteps and open their own businesses.
Away from work, Wendy's passions include gardening, music, community activism, helping family and friends, traveling abroad, and her daughter Brynne. She also loves animals, nature, and sustainability. Despite being busy and having many varied interests, Wendy gave 100 percent of her attention and effort to everything she did. She was incredibly devoted to supporting the causes she felt would make the world a better place.
Over the years, Wendy traveled to Guatemala, Spain, England, Korea, Japan, Italy, and Switzerland with her daughter. In Guatemala, where Brynne lives, Wendy came to know and love the area well and began sponsoring two sisters studying there. Wendy was an incredibly generous and kind person who found purpose in enhancing the lives of those around her. On her last trip, Wendy even went above and beyond to cook Thanksgiving dinner for her daughter and 27 guests.
Wendy passed away tragically on December 7, 2022 at the age of 59, but her legacy will continue to live on thanks to the incredible amount of love and care she showed to everyone she encountered. Wendy is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Brynne Feldman; siblings, Donna Raichle, and Keith Feldman (Eileen); and step-father, Joseph Courduff. Other close family includes Valerie Myers, Diane Greer, and Ashlee Toll. Wendy also has many nieces and nephews; Darren, Julia, Brian, Kevin, Nathaniel, Gabriel, Hunter, and Carter. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Kaufmann and brother in law, Wayne Raichle.
Relatives and friends are invited to Wendy's Life Celebration on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 22 E. Chestnut Hill Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118. A memorial service will begin at 11:00AM.
