Wendy Roberts

Funeral services for Charlene "Wendy" Roberts, 71, of Vidalia, LA will be held at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 2PM with Bro. Larry Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Natchez City Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1PM until service time at 2PM.

Wendy was born on Thursday, November 11, 1954 in ,Natchez, MS. and passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Baton Rouge, LA. Wendy was an amazing woman with a heart as big as her love for family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to LSU. Wendy truly bled purple and gold and never missed a chance to cheer on her team. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Though she had no children of her own, her nieces and nephews were her world, and she loved them as if they were her own. One of her favorite things to do was load up the kids and her mom and head out on family vacations. Whether it was the mountains or the beach Wendy was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. Their favorite place to visit was Pigeon Forge. She also loved the outdoors, spending time deer hunting, camping, riding four wheelers, and sitting around a warm fire. Wendy was a wonderful hostess whose door was always open, ready with coffee, a drink, and good conversation around the table. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is reunited with her parents, Charles "Lebo" Roberts and Barbara Cain Roberts and siblings, Bobby Roberts and Darrell Roberts.

Those left to cherish Wendy's memories are her nieces, Mandy Hancock & her husband JB and their sons, Tyler, Colin Cupit and Bryce Hancock and Stephanie Barlow & Miss Piggy; nephews, Blake "Golden Child" Barlow and Seth Barlow & his wife Jenna and their daughters, Anna Claire and Alaina Barlow; sister, Rhonda Barlow; and a host of cousins and friends.

Those honoring Wendy as pallbearers are Curtis Nelson, Colin Cupit, Keester Dellinger, JB Hancock, Blake Barlow, and Seth Barlow.
