Preceded in death by husband, Heinz Albert Olk; parents, Hans and Meta Uekermann; brother, Hans-Jürgen Uekermann.
Survived by sons, Michael (Judie) and Jürgen Olk; grandchildren, Christine (Kyle) Ott and Thomas Olk; great-grandchildren, Gabriele and Katarina; sister, Traute Wiggert; cousin, Hayo Feikes; extended family and friends. Wera was very involved with the German-American Society in Omaha and enjoyed baking.
Memorial Service Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 11204 S. 204th St., Gretna, NE. Inurnment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
