Werner C. Haas, 94, of Langhorne, PA peacefully passed away on May 10, 2025.
Werner was born in Steinheim, Germany, emigrating to the United States in 1950. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Later, he worked for United Engineers in Philadelphia as a Mechanical Engineer eventually retiring from Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Plant as the NRC Liaison Engineer in 1994.
Werner loved traveling, fishing, animals, entertaining, dining out, music, LA Fitness and ice cream. He especially loved his family and friends, always greeting them with, "you look good". In that spirit, there's no need for the colors of mourning.
Werner is survived by his beloved wife, Biaggina (Bea); daughters Catherine Giorgio (Nicholas), Sandy Haas; grandchildren Erica Hurvitz (David), Nicholas Giorgio (Hillary, daughter Eden); great granddaughter Ariana Hurvitz and many nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Carl and Louise Haas, brothers Theo, Dieter, Walter, Ernst and dogs Brownie, Nero, Bodo and Bella.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at St Andrew's Episcopal Church 47 W. Afton Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Visitation at the church's parish house will begin at 10:00 am with service starting at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Makefield-Yardley Friends Cemetery, Dolington Road, Lower Makefield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, Bucks County SPCA or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank all those who shared in his remarkable life well lived.
