COACH AUSTIN as I met him in 94 as a 9 year old kid and was at George middle school basketball practice for my older cousin and he came up and said you gonna play for me one day and shook my head up and down and said "yup" and I ended up playing for him in school and golden ball as well and worked with him at Portland state for the NYSP national youth sports program I started off as a student and ended up being one of the coaches helpers he made sure I always had a spot if I needed to get away from the streets and take a break I love coach for that I can always count on him . I can go on and on and on and on about this great man, I´m happy that he was able to make an impact on my life and all my friends and a lot of other people I´ve never met. I can only imagine what their stories are and what love to hear them as well, anyways, I love you close always told you were like a pops to me and I always appreciate the wisdom and guidance tried to lay down for me, so I understood it. I was picking up as much as you were putting down and I still use it to this day. Thank you for nothing but the utmost love and respect for you and yours coach .
