Obituary
Wesley L. Fish age 91 of Knoxville passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. Born August 3, 1931 in Blossburg, he was the son of the late William D. and Cecile (Butler) Fish. Wesley served in the US Army and retired from Corning, Inc., where he was a pipe fitter for many years. He enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, woodworking and refinishing furniture. He loved spending time with his great grandchildren, who could always put a smile on his face. Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Carolyn A. Fish; children, Kevin and Mary Fish of Knoxville, Wendy and Bruce Cady of Knoxville and Brian and Denise Fish of Tioga; grandchildren, Amber Chamberlain, Wesley Haynes, Amy Donaldson, Patricia Gleason and Courtney Surine; 14 great grandchildren and a sister in law, Loretta Cruttenden. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Curtis Michael Haynes; great granddaughter, Julia Haynes and his siblings, Roger, Joyce, Alfred, Lee and Ross. Family will receive friends at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Sunday, July 16th from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 3:00 PM with Troy Preston officiating. Military Honors will follow.
