Darlene "Dolly" E. Walters age 92 of Elkland passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Born October 9, 1933 in Elkland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Merritt "Bud" C. and Florence (Smith) Beers. She graduated Addison High School, retired from Corning Inc with 40 plus years of service, retired from the Elkland Library after 20 years and volunteered at Cowanesque Lake for 20 plus years. Dolly married Lester Walters on August 28, 1953 and they shared 29 years together until his passing in 1982. She enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles, reading and most importantly spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Leslie Spencer, Kathy Walters, Debbie (Duane) Wood, Ben (Jen) Walters and Todd (Peggy) Walters; her grandchildren, Jason Spencer, Christopher Wood, Deano (Katie) VanZile, Samantha Stewart, Brooke (Edward) Cummings, Troy (Lindsey Colon) Walters and Jesse (Caitlyn) Stewart; great grandchildren, Christopher, Christine, Lilly, Stella, Kailynn, Kolt, Kamden, Nolan, Ian and Colsen and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons, Steve and Mike. Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Saturday, February 14th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 1:00 PM with Lt. Col. Alan "Bob" Goodrich officiating. Burial will be in Addison Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Wesley Christian Academy, 117 Coates Ave., Elkland, PA 16920.
