Susan D. Wade

Susan D. Wade, age 72, passed away on December 13, 2025, at her home in Addison, New York. She was born on October 24, 1953, in Corning, New York, to Kenneth and Jacqueline (Frankfather) Causer. Susan graduated from Addison High School in 1971 and, shortly thereafter, married the love of her life, David Wade, on July 24, 1971.
Susan will be remembered above all as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She treasured time spent with her family above all else. She also found great joy in watching baseball games alongside her husband, faithfully cheering on the Baltimore Orioles. She occasionally enjoyed visits to Tioga Downs, where she was known for her lucky streaks.
Susan is survived by her husband of 54 years, David Wade of Addison; her daughters, Kari (Todd) Crouse of Big Flats and Kristy (Thomas) Cowulich of Big Flats; her beloved grandchildren, Michael Crouse, Lauren (Tyler) Stander, Lillian Cowulich, Kellen Crouse, and Lyla Cowulich; and her great-granddaughter, Kennedy Stander. She is also survived by her siblings: Kenneth (Deborah) Causer Jr. of Addison, Karen Dick of Poughkeepsie, Barbara (David) Yost of Texas, Jeffrey (Jannette) Causer of Big Flats, Nancy (Alan) Hall of Pine City; brothers-in-law Steven (Deb) Wade of Corning, Eugene (Peg) Wade of Addison, William (Paula) Wade of Rochester; as well as many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, New York, on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A time of sharing will follow at the funeral home at the conclusion of calling hours.
