Wesley Rinehart

Services for Wesley Lee Rinehart, 81, of Allen are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Allen Auditorium; Rev. Wayne Graves will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Allen Chapel on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Rinehart passed away Monday, September 8, 2025, in Ada. He was born December 2, 1943, in Allen to Lois and Zeulla Collins Rinehart.

On May 7, 1970, he married Peggy Sue Stone. He was employed with the City of Allen for 38 years working as a Street Superintendent and Fire Chief.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy of the home; four sons, Timothy Rinehart and wife Angie of Allen, Wesley Scott Rinehart and wife Linda of Ada, Jason Goodknight and wife Bridget of Owasso, and Rusty Goodknight of Ada; two daughters, Michelle Conley and husband Todd of Allen and Stacy Frederick and husband John of Allen; two sisters, Deonna Griffin and husband Bill of Holdenville and Linda K. Knighten and husband Jearl of Allen; and 36 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Zeulla Rinehart; three brothers, Dean Rinehart, Thurman Rinehart, and Leslie Rinehart; and one grandson, Isaac Goodknight.

Bearers are Jason Goodknight, Matthew Rinehart, Nathaniel Rinehart, Willis Rinehart, Lil John Frederick, and Lesley Rinehart. Honorary bearer is Harry Joe Ellis.
