Whalen Daniel Witmer

HALIFAX- Whalen Daniel Witmer, age 17, died September 7, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 15, 2007 in Harrisburg, PA.
He is survived by paternal grandparents, Daniel G. and Donna D. (Hechler) Witmer, Carsonville; maternal gandparent Gloria Inch; his parents, Justin Daniel Witmer and Heather Irene Teats; Brother, Chase Michael Witmer and sister, Alexis E. Witmer, both of Carsonville; Aunts and Uncles, John A Michaels and his wife Julia of New Jersey, John B. Witmer and his wife Jessica of Millersburg, Brandy L. Inch and her companion Roger Weaver of Carsonville, Joseph Witmer and his wife Carisa of Halifax, TImothy Witmer and his wife Erika of Halifax, Robert D. Witmer, Carsonville, Michael D. Witmer, Millersburg, April M. Teats and her companion Matthew Inch of Mifflintown and Michael L. Teats and his wife Jolene of Thompsontown. Paternal great grandparent Arlene Blanchard of Gratz and 22 cousins.
Whalen is preceded in passing by his grandfather Lawrence Teats.
Whalen was a 12th grade student at the Upper Dauphin High School class of 2026, where he enjoyed welding.
He enjoyed going hunting with his father and grandfather, and enjoyed fishing with his sister. He loved being outdoors and going for walks. He enjoyed playing cards, board games, and cornhole with his family and friends along with making campfires. He was great at gardening and could get plants to grow from seeds. He looked forward to his daily trips to Walmart with his mother. He enjoyed cooking with his brother and uncle. He had many nicknames by family including: Wheelstand, Waldo, and Whallie.
Whalen's memory will forever be cherished by his parents, family, and friends.
There will be a visitation held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Elizabethville on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 2-4 PM with a service at 4 pm.
