Wilbert Larry Christman Sr. was born on October 10, 1941 in Lehr, North Dakota to Albert and Annie Christmann. He passed from this life on August 13, 2025 in Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Wilbert attended school in North Dakota as a young boy. He lived many other places throughout his life, including California, Oklahoma City, and Kentucky, before settling in the Wetumka area.

He joined the Marine Corps in 1959, and served until 1973. Following his time in the Marine Corps, he started working in construction. Wilbert was a jack of all trades. He was a mechanic, and he could do just about any kind of home improvements, including plumbing and electrical.

Wilbert enjoyed bowling, woodworking, and gardening. He especially liked spending time watching and feeding hummingbirds. They would even come and land on his shoulder! He was also incredibly proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very laid-back, easy-going man, who would be willing to help anyone any way he could.

Wilbert is survived by his children, Wilbert Christman Jr., William Christman, Wayne Christman, Dawn Christman, Dianna Middleton; several siblings; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
