Claudia is proceeded in death by her parents, Harry and Edna Rogers, two siblings Ina Rogers and Edith Smith.
Survived by her son, JD and wife Joanna Matthews of Dustin, Oklahoma, Roy and wife Joyce, Rogers of Weleetka, Oklahoma. Ray and wife Cheryl Rodgers of Bristow, Oklahoma, Mary and husband Bill Cossey of Morris Okla, Edna, and husband, Jerry, Brooks of Oklahoma City and Barbra and Earl Shatswel of Dewar Oklahoma and lots of nieces and nephews. Claudia was a proud grandmother of five: DJ Matthews of Wetumka, McKinlye Matthews and longtime partner Dustin Laran of Weleetka, Javonna and husband, Nathan Peel of Dustin, Coral and husband Joseph Lewis of Mcloud, and Jade Matthews of Dustin.
Claudia also cherished her great grandchildren: Braxton and Brylon Peel, Riley, Anna, Rowdy and Ryan Matthews. Claudia held various positions throughout her career, including wife, mother, in-home daycare provider, nursing home employee, and upon retirement activities, director of Rainbow Terrace in Weleetka, Oklahoma.
Claudia played a significant role in her grandchildren and great grandchildren's lives as she was involved in their upbringing. Her presence to be felt within the family among her grandchildren and great grandchildren, living next-door to JD and Joanna allowed her close interaction to say the least. Claudia and her peach cobbler will always be loved and greatly loved greatly missed.
Visitation for Claudia Matthews will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Claudia Matthews will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Dustin First Assembly of God.
Services are under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
