Wilbur Jenkins Jr. Obituary
Wilbur R. Jenkins, Jr., of Henderson, passed away on March 12, 2025 in Henderson, Nevada.
Wilbur was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Wilbur and Letha Jenkins on August 15, 1953.
He lived in Kansas City, Missouri and Overland Park, Kansas, graduating from Shawnee Mission South High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Kathy Kinzle, on January 26, 1974, in Overland Park, Kansas. In 1980 they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he continued his education at UNLV, graduating with a degree in Accounting in 1987. His career spanned over 35 years at the Las Vegas Hilton, which ultimately became the Westgate Hotel and Casino.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur R. Jenkins, Sr., his mother, Letha P. Jenkins, his sister Terry Wiggin, his sister Genevieve Leap and his sister Diana Jenkins.
Wilbur is survived by his wife, Kathy Jenkins, daughter Kristan Jenkins, son and daughter-in-law Garett and Brena Jenkins and his three grandsons, Brandon, Dylan, and Nicholas. He is also survived by his sister Martha Jenkins and his brother David Jenkins.
Memorial services will be held on April 14, 2025 at 11:00am at Davis Funeral Home on 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
