Mr. Wilbur "Peter" Robinson, Jr. passed away in his home in Brick, NJ on May 14, 2024, at the age of 67. He was born to the late Wilbur and Rosita Robinson on March 14, 1957, in Neptune, NJ.
Peter loved to laugh and managed to talk to EVERYONE wherever he went. His family joked that he was practically a mayor the way he openly, kindly, and vibrantly spoke with those nearby. Peter loved fishing on the Belmar pier or out on a fishing boat and Monmouth Park Racetrack, where he could be found on most Saturdays making friends.
Peter was a lifelong resident of Neptune, NJ where he attended and graduated from the Neptune High School and went on to attend Lincoln Tech in Edison, NJ. Peter was a dedicated worker for Delisa Disposal of Tinton Falls, NJ where he worked for 20 years until his retirement in 2020. During his retirement, he enjoyed long walks with his dog Chloe, traveling with his children & family, and catching up with all his shows with his love and life partner. Peter was known for making you laugh with the stories and jokes he would tell, ensuring to leave a big and bright smile on the faces of those he interacted with.
Peter was so proud of the fact that he conquered his addiction in 1995 and was proudly sober for 29 years.
Peter was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Rosita Robinson, his brothers James and Samuel Robinson, and his oldest son, Daryl Jones.
Peter leaves behind to cherish his memory Patrica Green of Brick, NJ his life partner, his son Brian Green (Bhumi) of Oakhurst, NJ, his daughter Monica Green of Toms River, NJ, his brother Carl Robinson of Asbury Park, NJ, five grandchildren Nosiera Jones, Anyiah Jones, Jahcire, Jones, Parker Green, Micah Green, and baby Cairo & one great-grandson, and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers.
