Wilda Annette Arnette, 80, of Sanford passed away on Tuesday February 25, 2025. A funeral service will be held at Rogers Pickard Funeral home on Friday February 28, 2025, at 7pm. The family will receive friends before the service starting at 6pm.
Wilda was born in Yadkin Co. to the late Jessie Lee Willard and Cleo Southard Willard. She enjoyed home-cooking, sewing, crocheting, fishing, and jig saw puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Jackie Dishman; granddaughter Lois Frazier; grandson Darron Dishman; and siblings Butch Willard, Linda Hill, and Roger Willard.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Kirkland Arnette; children Ralph Dishman, Charlotte Sturdivant (Toby), Timothy Dishman (Karen), Jeffrey Arnette (Sabrina), and Ricky Lawson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings David Willard, Barry Willard, Wilma Smith, Patricia Porter, Alma Todd (Dale), Wanda Gunter (Jeff), and Jessie Willard; many nieces and nephews; and 100’s of dear friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
